πŸ’™Thank You Blue DreamπŸ’™

Blue Dream blew everyone away last night. Credit to Josh Johnson for pulling together and leading such an incredible group of artists. We were speechless. (Pictures are on Facebook and Instagram.)

As Tim said last night, this gets to the heart of why we wanted to do this: to see the incredible community in our neighborhood and the incredible community of musicians come together to support each other and watch magic happen.

Thanks to the artists, the attendees, our volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who made this magic possible!πŸŒ³πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸ»πŸŽ·πŸŒ»πŸ’œ

“Blue Dream” Debut performance August 21

You won’t want to miss Grand Oak Opry presents Blue Dream on August 21st at 7:30.

Josh’s own words say it better than we could – and we’re honored to showcase this vision, energy, relevance, and talent:

“This is a debut performance featuring myself and some of my dearest friends. This performance will showcase the spiritual growth & expansion of my musical village over the past few years.

Maria Isa taught me that our drums are our weapons, our medicine & our voices through trying times. When we bring our instruments together from our own tribes to celebrate our unique rhythms we become even more powerful. Some of us call on our ancestors for guidance, some of us call to put them in check. Both are essential conversations for achieving real love and community.

Let’s come together to heal ourselves, celebrate live music, and reject silence & complacency towards the state sanctioned oppression we constantly witness in our community with some of the twin cities strongest musical protectors:

DeCarlo Jackson – 🎺, Megan Mahoney – bass 🎸, Joey C. Hays – πŸ₯, Jacob Dodd – 🎹, Levi Schwartzberg – VibesπŸ”₯, William Linstrom – 🎸, Josh Johnson – 🎷

Thanks to our Sponsors

We are SO thankful for our sponsors, who cover the hard costs to put on the shows.

Thanks to them, 100% of your contribution at the gate goes to the artists. Thanks this year to Claddagh Coffee, Liquor Barrel – West 7th St. Paul, Selby Acupuncture, Stogies On Grand, Waldmann Brewery, and Winged Heart Yoga. (Thanks Winged Heart Yoga and Stogies On Grand for being new sponsors this year!)

Please acknowledge these great community businesses for helping make these community shows possible! – Sean and Tim
